St. Thomas' Episcopal Church

 St. Thomas’ offers a full Church School program for children from age 3 through High School.  Classes meet during the first half of the Sunday 10:00 A.M. worship service.  While parents are hearing the scripture read and explained in the worship service, the children are doing the same in their classes in an age appropriate way.

After the sermon, the children come in to the church and gather in front to hear a short “Chancel Talk” usually given by the clergy.  The Chancel Talk welcomes the children into the congregation and helps explain something about the service.  After the Chancel Talk, at the Exchange of the Peace, the children join their parents in their pews and stay with them for the Eucharist.
