Planned Giving:
   There are a number of mutually beneficial methods through which assets can be gifted to the parish. The term “planned giving” generically describes gifts which involve calculated decisions as an asset to be gifted, method, timing, necessary documentation, and advisors to be involved. While all of this can sound daunting, most planned gifts are quite easily accomplished.
   The following five frequently used methods may be applicable to your situation and gifting wishes. 

• Charitable Giving through your Estate
• The Charitable Gift Annuity
• The Charitable Remainder Trust
• Gifting Remainder Trust
• Gifts of Life Insurance to Charity

   While any of the following members of the Endowment Commission will be pleased to answer planned giving questions and offer general guidance, please discuss in advance with your attorney and other appropriate financial advisors any legal steps you may contemplate.
